About Me: i'm just your average black-white kid with a loud mouth and an unconditional love for all things music. It's my life, its the air I breathe, its the food I eat and it's the water I wash my ass with.

Descendent of a world renounced Hawaiian Ukulele player, daughter of a former black hippie with a love of all things music and a recovering drug addict, Deekah Wyatt was destined to tell her story through song. Playing in bands, singing and acting in stage productions since her high school years Deekah is no stranger to the stage. Her broad influences range from Heart, Parliament Funkadelic and Red Hot Chili Peppers to Prince, iRadio and Queen and it comes through in her eclectic, finger-snap-inspiring music.

Deekah Wyatt is currently playing at venues all over Detroit including the 5E Gallery, The Artist Village & Cliff Bell’s. She can be seen most Mondays with her band The Phoenix Collective at the Phoenix Cafe in Hazel Park on John R. Jjust south of 10 Mile Rd. Her EP “Insidious Pleasures” can be purchased online at www.deekahwyatt.com or in person at any performance. Deekah is a full time student and gives guitar lessons in her spare time. She is a wife of 5 years and mother of one 3 year old son.

and the cruelty free makeup is a struggle. i bought some loreal HIP for the time being so i can see which "high intensity" pigments work on my skin.
i know of mineral fusion. they make really good foundation and they have it for darker skin tones. >_br /> bright blessings!
