whoa! one the best pages i've seen on here! move to LA please, haha. :D
seriously though, great taste! looove trojan recs (of course). my friend and i were actually discussing how great "blue-eyed" soul is (not to take away from "regular soul, ha). there's actually a killer soul/reggae band from out here in cali called the revivers, they should be on myspace.

anyways, keep in touch. :)

CHANGE HAS COME
WWW.JETFUELFORREVOLUTION.COM

WE ARE EVERYWHERE
IN THE DNA OF MANY NATIONS
AND WE MAKE THE PLANET ROCK
GIVE IT THAT COOL TILT ON ITS ROTATION
WE RUN CORPORATIONS
WE RUN THE STREETS
WE RUN POPULAR CULTURE
WE ARE BIGGER THAN YOU HATERS
AND THIS MOMENT IN HISTORY
IS BIGGER THAN US
YOU NEED TO BE DOWN
AND BECOME LOVERS
BECAUSE LOVE IS STRONGER THAN HATE
DIDN'T YOU SEE "DO THE RIGHT THING"?
HATE....KNOCKED OUT BY LOVE
IT'S A PAINT THE WHITE HOUSE PARTY
AND YOU ARE INVITED
IMAGINE THE COLORS
IMAGINE THEM RUNNING
BLEEDING TOGETHER
THE WAY WE BLEED TOGETHER
IN WAR
BLEEDING FROM THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A NEW WHITE HOUSE
AND NOT THE DESTRUCTION
OF US ALL
OBAMA-VISION IS ON
WATCH IT AND DON'T BLINK
YOU WILL SEE THE PAST
AND THE LESSONS IT'S TAUGHT US
YOU WILL SEE THE PRESENT
AND WHAT IT HAS WROUGHT US
AND YOU WILL SEE THE FUTURE
AND US DANCING IN THE DISTANCE
DANCE WITH US
TO THE RHYTHM
OF A NEW HEARTBEAT!

FINALLY, A DEFINITE ALTERNATIVE!

ARE YOU DOWN?

Hi! My name is Jay B. Walker A.K.A. Zyyro. I am an artist, activist and director in film and tv who left the security of working in TV in NYC to keep my sister's ATL based non-profit alive. .A passion for change fuels my life. It fueled my sister's life too. She was a Doctor, Classical Singer and a Filmaker Educated at Howard University. A true Renaissance woman.

From Medicine to Music to Movies.....she did it all and started a non-profit in ATL to create excitement about learning through teaching film production. She supported it out of her pocket from 1997 til passing away in April 2008. I am attemptinng to keep her dream alive and continue making "CHANGE" a reality. I need your help though.

The logo and pics you see are of the 1st edition of my "CHANGE SHIRT" COLLECTION. A black vintage t-shirt that celebrates this new day and time. We've made a drastic change in Washington...we can make a drastic change in the world! I am attempting to do my part.

I am selling the "CHANGE SHIRT" at www.jetfuelforrevolution.com. The first one is limited to only 2000 pieces and will be a collectors item.

THE CHANGE SHIRT MAKES CHANGES!!! The next limited editions will be offered in other colors. I would appreciate your support by buying one for you and friends as gifts...or just spreading the word.

The name of the non-profit is MADE4YAYA, standing for: MUSIC-ARTS-DRAMA-EDUCATION-4-YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS.
Your purchase is tax deductible.

MADE4YAYA is a 501C3 non-profit corporation. For more info contact me.
WHOLESALE AND SALES REP OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE!

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!

Jay B. "Mastermind Zyyro" Walker
Brother to Dr. Lillie Ruth Walker, M.D., founder of MADE4YAYA

Sadly no. Their LP 'Voice of a Generation' is an absolute punk rock masterclass. I just think Carl had one of those classic angry voices. It was a shame that their guitarist died a year or so back as they were rumoured to be re-forming (just like the 4-Skins have.)

No, sorry I am a punk rocker, not a skin. The mentality of both movements is very similar, though. I just love those fast guitars and sing-a-long lyrics! That is why Oi! was always my favourite genre. I listened to the likes of Blitz, Peter & The Test Tube Babies and the 4-Skins in my youth.

Wow - you are one of the very few people I have met who knows any of those bands! I forgot to mention 4-Promille - probably the best Oi! band of the past 10 years and Schusterjungs - check out their version of Skinhead Girl on You tube.
Oh, I am fine, thanks for asking.

Heh Rudie, I love those pictures on your profile - I can recommend some bands that you would love. Try these out (you can hear some stuff by them on the German amazon site) Stomper 98 (classic Oi! but with a saxophone), Loikaemie, Die Mimmis, Stage Bottles, The Shocks (the best '77 style band around), Poebel und Gesocks, Oi-Melz, The Templars (token USA band), Broilers, Popperklopper, Supernichts, Terrorgruppe. They won't let you down. Oh, by the way, I am the UKs leading expert on German Oi! punk!! Don't forget to check out my new book: One Love Two Colours: The unlikely marriage of a Punk Rocker and his African Queen (www.amazon.co.uk) - you can see some more pictures of us there and also the book cover. Thanks for reading my mail.
