About Me
D. Lammie-Hanson (Lammie) is the vocalist and primary songwriter for Son.Aria. Her vocal style is an infusion of Bjork, PJ Harvey and the honey of Sade while avant-garde keyboardist, Ari Meier is the primary composer. Later in the summer, guitarist, Aaron Simpson joined and contributed his tasty chords, guitar voicings and great ear to the music. D. David Hensel, the adventurous 8 string bassist and background vocalist came on board to add his brand to the mix. Derek then brought funky drummer, Daniel Decriscio, a fellow collaborator at City Church-Eastside in Atlanta. Daniel brought experimental and driving force drumming techniques to Son.Aria's sound.
