Punk In Africa

I find it funny how some of the white interviewees are referencing how they are struggling in south africa and I'm like have you been to any of the shanty towns in the region thats struggling. But there are a few others who I can appreciate there sentiments. This should be a good film to see when it comes out for both white and Black audiences.

So we went 'poof'. Our last official appearance (minus a Bushwick loft party or two) was at last summer's Afropunk Festival. new york lonelness

new york city can be a very lonely place

you think that since there are so many people here

it should be easy to find a friend or two right?

well i go to borading school in nj so most of my friends are there

but it sucks because once i go home back to nyc

all of my friends are in nj and i am alone in nyc

Need to get out!

As much as I like my alone time I have been craving the outside world. I hate that I am not living my life to the fullest. Most of my close friends are scattered about doing their own thing and I am here by myself. I am young and I should be out and about. I just want to be around others from time to time.
