I'm kinda glad the old boards are gone for a multitude of reasons. The number one being I bared a lot of personal issues to to folks i at the time thought I would never meet.I never thought that I would find a community of weirdos like myself.A lot has happened in my life the three years plus that I've been here and a many folks here have been a part of it .In a few cases the cause , but that's water under the bridge.I've made an effort to only post things that are positive this time around and…

I am ignorant.
Ayep.
I didn't know there was an actual 'afro-punk' scene.
Silly me.
Glad I stumbled on, though.

I stray away from mainstream not out of trend or rebellion -but because other side of the tracks have always been my human nature, culture, lifestyle. perhaps it's being raised in Europe, summer vacations in Italy, Greece and Zambia. What is mainstream for you? Or maybe it is because my father from louisiana is a professional guitarist or maybe it's because my mother from Oklahoma is a professional singer. Or maybe it's piano lessons for several years, and self taught bass lines. Maybe it's…

I wasn't a fan of Gerard Way's comic The Umbrella Academy but maybe Method Man's will be better.
GreasyGuide.com reports that Method Man is taking his brand to the graphic novel space. The rapper and one of the founding members of the Wu-Tang Clan is has a new graphic novel coming out. The novel follows Peerless Poe, a ninja priest who fights the forces of evil. Check out the interview and a look at a few pages…

Folks, I was sitting in my living room last night, after coming home late from going to Happy Hour at The Edison with the ladies from work. Had fun, mostly cause they were there, but all those annoying There To Be Seen and Trowling For The Hookup white people were SO getting on my nerves. Place was fucking crowded, BUT the building was GORGEOUS (it is a very old building that was once Southern California Edison's original headquarters, complete…

Ok, so sometimes i go to shows and its hard to start the pit up, or me and like 4 other people are the only ones moshing. Im not having that shit at the festival, so anybody who's going to the festival, and needs a mosh partner, or has trouble starting up the pit, or needs someone to kick in the face. see me in the pit. i most definitely will be in the cipher pit. otherwise. just take a look around and find the fat guy going crazy lol.

Kreesha Turner is a Canadian R&B and pop singer.
I saw Kreesha perform yesterday and was really impressed with her voice, stage presence and the on point performance from her dancers/backup singers and keyboardist. Her music has been featured on show like Lipstick Jungle, Gossip Girl, Entourage, The Hills and others.
She sang…

i remember me.
and all these things that make up a memory.
things we often turn to forget.
the people.
the faces.
bluring the lines between the things that we keep only to regret.
we all been throught the night with movies and low light.
crying through the good fight.
trying to hit the big one
even if only for tonight.
throwing down the bottle.
trying to be a good girl.
given them what they want.
when all the while we are…

#16 Was a book called Honor Few, Fear None by Ruben Cavazos, President of a prominent 1% MC. Cavazos talked about his youth, internal and external politics, the new expansion of the club, Laughlin, and Billy Queen with surprising candor. I wish he had talked a little more about his job as an X Ray tech though. If you are interested in 1% clubs at all, this is a must read that you will likely tear through like an alligator.

YOU HAVE YOUR OWN MOUNTAINS TO CONQUER, YOUR OWN DREAMS TO FULFILL, BUT YOU WILL NEVER HAVE THE ENERGY TO PURSUE THEM UNTIL YOU RELEASE YOURSELF FROM ALL THE EXPECTATIONS YOU'VE GATHERED FROM OTHERS BUT NOW THINK ARE YOUR OWN. STRIVING TOWARDS TRUTH IS NOTHING BUT CREATING MORE CONFUSION. THE TRUTH HAS NOT TO BE ACHIEVED. IT CANNOT BE ACHIEVED, IT IS ALREADY THE CASE. ONLY THE LIE HAS TO BE DROPPED. LOOK DEEP INTO THE LIE OF YOUR PERSONALITY. BECAUSE TO SEE THE LIE IS TO CEASE THE LIE. THE…

When we are born the first sound we make is a cry,a yell, a scream. It's like the experience of childbirth is not only an overwhelming experience for the mother , but for the baby as well. Before we develop the ability to talk, we learn how to communicate, using sound cues, body language, visual recognition.Eventually we develop speech and grow up.But yet somewhere those other forms of communication are lost. Some how I want to get back to that. Those moments that I just want to scream or yell, if…
