Afro-punk hits Northampton for Halloween 10-31-09

The Afro-punk tour bus left Philadelphia and headed four hours north of the map to perform at Pearl Street in Northampton, MA.

Afro-punk pushes through Philadelphia - 10-30-09

After the Afro-punk crew partied the night away in Chicago, the guys got on the road again and headed to Philadelphia. When the tour bus reached the city, we were blown away by the action packed shopping district where the Theatre of Living Arts was located. People were outside representing the Afro-punk Philly scene in full effect, rocking bright colors, skateboarding down the strip, and enjoying their town.…

Afro-Punk Drives To Detroit - 10.26.09

The Afro-punk tour bus left Minneapolis after a great show and headed 10 hours east on the map to Detroit. Performing in the city known for housing Motown Records, the guys knew they had to bring a stellar performance to the crowd in Detroit. Afro-punk makes moves in Minneapolis - 10.25.09

And so the Afro-punk crew left the cold city of Toronto and crossed back into the states-- heading to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Trekking 928 miles to our next venue took two whole days of on the road travel, but it also gave the musicians a chance to discuss their own interpretation of what Afro-punk means to them.

Afro-punk crossed the border, hey Canada! - 10.23.09

Right after the Cleveland show, the Afro-punk tour bus hit the road again and crossed the border into Canada. The crew started to get a little tired, but once we hit Toronto at The Opera House, the guys peppered up their step to put on a sold-out show performance.

Afro-punk is off to Cleveland! 10-22-09
