No, we're not going to be eating any underprivileged kids. But, how about this for an idea...enough spamming! There a few members on there that jack threads to advertise there product with threads that have nothing to do with there products. How about this, another section for nothing but messages that advertise your art.
p.s. kudos for the folks who get the literary reference.

A block party in the summer consists of a few things, food, people, shade, breeze, and most importantly music. Afropunk once again gave all of those ingredients for anyone and everyone to enjoy. From the different vendors giving you a taste of what they provided to the various Djs that were the main focus of the event, you can’t help but laugh at the pure magic that the city brings when all of the planets are aliened.…

Why is it that we as "Black Americans" cannot let go of the past?? We've been enslaved for years, taken from Africa and dispersed throughout the West Indies and Americas like wild fire, we've been drinking from different fountains, eating from different restaurants, and crapping in different bathroom stalls. Many leaders came and went fighting to set us free physically, mentally, and spiritually, we went from riding at the back of the bus to driving the bus; we went from being payed the below…

Hey Afro Punk!
We have another show coming up in the lush and beautiful state of Kentucky, which is very similar to our lush, beautiful band members!
We will be playing Friday, July 24th at Diamond's Pub and Billiards -- we're the featured act for the evening.
Even more appropriate is that this is the first monthly show being thrown by the lovely Miss Divinity Rose, and the theme of the evening is GEEK NIGHT!
There will be food, booze, artwork, comic…

Seriously I do. At this point I don't even see the point of it. Friends of mine who have graduated are either unemployed or work somewhere that had nothing to do with their degree. So whats the purpose? The college system is just a gimick. I applied to and requested information for a bunch of schools this past Fall and am just now getting call backs from them. What the fuck? Its actually too late for me to even accept an invite to college.
I wouldn't want to go anyway......

On a summer Monday afternoon what better place to go than to a free concert full of pro and amateur skaters and BMX riders and soda beverages that satisfy your sugar addiction. For the third time in a row the sun has given us heat and fun as finial day of Afropunk begins with a band called The Freshmen. This band reached old and new fans, the younger crowd more evident that afternoon due to summer school being over that day.

I'll be honest, I never felt included in what is assumed by other Black people to be Black culture.
I've always felt like an outsider, even from a very young age. Before I discovered rock music or before I cared to dye my hair pink-- before I thought being a musician was a viable option-- I was different.
At the very basis of my being, I'm a weirdo-outsider. Everything that exists in my life I have to explain to people, as there's nothing simple about me. I'm from West…
