After The New Music, Santigold Reveals Dramatic Cover Art For Upcoming Album

Santigold shared the cover art of her upcoming album with The New York Times, and it doesn't disappoint. Photographer Jason Schmidt did a great job shooting Santi as 3 different characters, and visual artist Kehinde Wiley contributed a painting of her as an army officer. Nick Cave's Soundsuits In New York

Artist/dancer Nick Cave's eccentric "Soundsuits" are in New York until October 22nd! The suits are sculptural costumes/forms that the artist sees as "an exuberant second skin that conceals race, gender, and class" and a "Shamanic", functified freak show.
