Santigold shared the cover art of her upcoming album with The New York Times, and it doesn't disappoint. Photographer Jason Schmidt did a great job shooting Santi as 3 different characters, and visual artist Kehinde Wiley contributed a painting of her as an army officer. Artist/dancer Nick Cave's eccentric "Soundsuits" are in New York until October 22nd! The suits are sculptural costumes/forms that the artist sees as "an exuberant second skin that conceals race, gender, and class" and a "Shamanic", functified freak show.
