Jack Davey, lead singer of duo J*DaVeY, announced that she'll be releasing a solo EP called 'L0-F!' "The 5 song A & B side effort 'L0-F!' features Jack Davey in a raw, bluesy light which is evident from the EP's first official offering, 'Howl At The Moon'." The track is inspired by Iggy Pop and Betty Davis, no less... Stream it below…

Get over yourself and quit whining already! :-P For starters, Cee Lo Green (who was on last year's Afro-punk Festival line-up) got to share his badassness on stage, font and center. That's not all: featured performer Madonna also invited M.I.A. (a fave with AP readers) - who ended up giving the middle-finger to the millions of viewers, but we wouldn't expect less from her (see video below).
Overall, a very…

Let’s face it: the word "fuck" has always been and will continue to be one of the most multi-purposed words in the English dictionary. You can use it in almost every instance and in so many forms, from "fuck yes, I found five bucks in some 99 cents shorts I bought at the thrift store", to "fuck no, I just caught my girl cheating on me with my best friend… and my cousin". Add an –ed at the end of the word, and it can be used in a sexual reference or negatively,… Continue

Whether you think it's music's biggest night, or just utter fuckery, we thought we'd still do a little recap piece on last night's Grammys. At least to try and see if any Afro-punk artists won anything. And, errrrr... well let's just say congrats to Cee Lo for winning "Best Urban/Alternative Performance" category (shout out to Janelle Monae and Bilal for being nominated too). But then again, "Best Urban/Alternative Performance" pretty much means "Black Alternative", so no wonder… Continue

Talk about an interesting collab. Cee Lo Green has been spotted in St. Lucia working with Amy Whinehouse and producer Salaam Remi (provided that UK tabloid the Daily Star happens to tell to the truth :-P You know those British newspapers can get a lil' cra-zay). The duet they recorded is said to be for Winehouse upcoming album. A source reportedly told the Daily Star:… Continue

Really, there's nothing better for music lovers. So we are happy to announce that one of the largest music festivals in the world, Coachella, just announced their 2011 spring line-up (April 15th - 17th)…
