Self-hate, beauty standards: how do we stop the madness?

Hey guys, although many don't go as far as South African artist Mshoza (pictured below), a lot of people still hurt themselves emotionally when they let unhealthy beauty standards (hair, skin color, etc.) become their own.

'Dear White People' Satire Buzzing Like Crazy On The Internet

Ok now, this 'Dear White People' satire video is causing a commotion on the web. Writer/director/producer Justin Simien says: "Meant to articulate the sometimes funny, mostly harmless, but occasionally painful experience of being a Black face in a vastly white place (i.e. most Hollywood work environments) @DearWhitePeople also served an ulterior motive of mine.
