Hi guys, you might have heard the news. Singer and frontwoman of classic punk band X-Ray Spex, Poly Styrene, passed away Monday evening, after battling cancer. Our sincere condolences to her friends and family. Born Marianne Joan Elliott-Said, she had an undeniable impact on punk culture, most notably with X-Ray Spex single 'Oh Bondage Up Yours!', a seminal rebel anthem. Her latest album, 'Generation Indigo' has just been released, and to honor her, we're sharing some images, videos (old and new) with you.
