1st Blog Entry

I have to say that I'm excited about this feature of the new AfroPunk. As many of you know, I have a couple of different blogs out there, one of which is X-rated. But, I think that I'll like this one better. I can write about anything that comes to mind and I can feel better about it. I've got to say that the post I saw on here by wheredawhitewomenat that involved the fan of Insane Clown Posse deeply disturbed me. It's not that I didn't know that poor, under-educated people existed. Hell, many of them are in my family and on my street. But I guess that it's still shocking to see people living a life that was not even within my realm of sensible, and I can let A LOT of things be sensible.

I guess my issue is that I don't like seeing dead babies (it saddens and depresses me) and I especially don't like seeing children that if they hadn't died early, they would have been suffering through life anyway. It always puts me in mind of the pictures that I saw in the book "Sleeping Beauty" about 13 years ago.
