21-year-old jewell jones becomes youngest elected state representative in michigan!

November 11, 2016

If this election season has you down, look no further than Jewell Jones to bring some sunshine back to your life. This 21-year-old college student is making history as the youngest elected official in the Michigan House of Representatives. This isn’t the first time the University of Michigan-Dearborn student is making history. The finance and political science double major made history last year when he was elected to his town’s city council at the tender age of 20. Needless to say, Jewell’s ambition has brought him far in a short amount of time and it’s a pleasure to see someone so young engaged in the political system.
