AFROPUNK

... the other Black experience

Hello AFROPUNK Family,
We would like to talk to you about the fact that after 10 years going ad-free, we are going to put some advertising on afropunk.com in order to help cover the costs of sustaining the company, keeping the website online, offering you great content and of course creating free events for the community, such as the AFROPUNK Festival.
We are going to work with brands and artists we think are relevant to the community. We would really appreciate the community support.
As always, if you have any comments, suggestions, questions or concerns, please let us know in the comments section below.
Thank you so much for being a part of the community! Be in touch.

Do what you got to do, guys. I know that keeping sites up like this takes a lot more money than people think, but I say anything that means afropunk can stay alive is worth it. LONG LIVE AP!

Dustin put it perfectly, Afropunk is too worthwhile to let die in the name of staying ad-free, anyone who loves the community won't leave it because of a few promotions

You have to do what needs to get done. I'm sure some will claim that you're "selling out", but they will need to understand that you guys can't survive on being "cool". Please, just don't overwhelme us with adds. :-) peace yall.
