Afro-Punk: CMJ wrap-up. Check out the pictures!!!
Afro-Punk rocked this year's CMJ Festival in New York City! Three amazing shows with bands such as The Noisettes, Millsted, The Dallas Austin Experience, Game Rebellion, The London Souls and many more.
We spotted some members of the Afro-Punk online Community in the crowd! Were you there? Let us know what you thought of the shows and check out the cool pictures below taken by Chris Carr.
The first show was at 205 Chrystie on October 22nd 2008:
Hollywood Holt and Mano delivered some Afro-Punk-style hip-hop:
George Clinton payed us a visit:
Ebony Bones and her band's high-energy performance brought down the house:
The Carps did their thing:

The second show was at Santo's Party House on October 23rd 2008:
The Dallas Austin Experience introduced their multimedia show:
The Noisettes came all the way from London to be with us. Thanks guys!
Ebony Bones and her band came back for a late night special:
DJ Million $ Mano and DJ Synapse handled the turntables:

The third show was at Webster Hall on October 24 2008:
Millsted rocked it as they always do:
Game Rebellion caused a commotion:
The London Souls wowed everyone:
DJ Skeet Skeet & DJ Chris Landry spinned some hot music:
Nova Clutch was in the house:

I checked out ther show at Crash Mansion, It was HOT.. also I checked out the shows at Restoration Plaza in Brooklyn and they all represented quite well...BROOKLYN STAND UP!
