AFROPUNK FEST 2012 TOP 10 FOOD HIGHLIGHTS

In the wake of AFROPUNK FEST we've been reminiscing about all of our favorite bands that won't be back in the USA until next summer, how the fall weather is making us pack up our skateboards, and how all of a sudden we have outrageous cravings for food truck delights.

The food trucks were one of the biggest hits during AFROPUNK FEST. In 90 degree heat and thousand-person lines we sure were happy to see people like SNAP and Van Leeuwen ice cream hold us down. Here are our TOP 10 FOOD TRUCK salivate-all-day truck highlights.

Nothing makes you say AHH! like a Kelvin Slush in 90 degree festival weather.

2. KORILLA BBQ

The easy to carry, kimchi laden, delicious Korean Tacos MADE OUR WEEKEND

3. FISHING SHRIMP

FRIED SEAFOOD TREATS ALL DAY ANY DAY (especially on AFROPUNK FEST days!)

4. BIAN DANG

Healthy, refreshing and DELICIOUS Taiwanese. Some of the BEST in NYC and (naturally) Commodore Barry Park during AFROPUNK FEST

5. MORRIS TRUCK

simple-yet-complex, ooey gooey grilled cheese. INDULGE!

6. MEXICUE

One of our favorite mexican joints, PERIOD! at one of our favorite festivals, PERIOD! Let alone on a truck.

7. DOMO TACO
