Afro-punk Festival Volunteers: AFRO-PUNK NEEDS YOU!

It’s that time of year again! We are gearing up for another fabulous Afro-Punk festival! This year’s festival is taking place in Brooklyn's Commodore Barry Park, August 27 & 28, 2011.
Each year we hit up all the NYC, Philly & Wash, DC Street fairs, festivals, & events to promote the Afro-Punk Festival, this year is going to be the best one yet, but we need your help to make it a success!

JOIN THE TEAM
Our Promotional Team is offering volunteer positions for the following:
- Street Team
Responsibilities: Attend various events to hand out flyers and promo materials. Travel cost and Materials provided.
- Social Media Team (FB, Twitter, etc.)
Responsibilities: Promote Afro-Punk Festival 2011, re-post/re-tweet video content, photos, announcements and information.

If you are interested in helping, please email VOLUNTEERS@afropunk.com, please be sure to include your area of interest and availability June – August 2011. Also, if you have prior special event experience and/or interest in Art, BMX, Skate or Music.

Additionally, we are still accepting applications for Summer Interns. If you, or someone you know, are interested, please send a resume and cover letter stating area of interest to JC@afropunk.com by May 31, 2011. Stipend Offered.
