afropunk premiere: ‘bang bang’ – the new single from brooklyn rock hood band shinobi ninja

Today we’re premiering the new single from Brooklyn Punk Rockers Shinobi Ninja, ‘Bang Bang’ (from their forthcoming collection, ‘Funbang’). The group – known for their Rock Hood sound (a blend of punk, metal, and hip-hop) – are made up of Baby G (vocals), Duke Sims (vocals), DJ Axis Powers (turntables), Alien Lex (bass), Kid Shreddi (guitar) and Terminator Dave (drums). Regarding the new release, the band tell us: “This song is inspired by the bad thoughts that we sometimes get within ourselves. Some of us live life where we hide behind our true feelings and smile when deep inside we feel lost. The song tells the story about a person having a million wild thoughts that they just can’t get out of their head. Eventually the person goes crazy because the thoughts are unbearable.” Listen below and download for free.
