afropunk premiere: danish producer kriswontwo joins forces with british soulman omar – ‘love, need you’

Today we’re premiering the new single from Danish producer Kriswontwo, ‘Love, Need You’ – a collaboration with British soul fixture Omar. Kriswontwo (who was inspired by the Soulquarian movement in his formative years) states: “I asked Omar if I could play him some music…he completely felt it. When the artist arrived, Omar had written and recorded this whole track, and we went on to lace the chorus that was intended to be recorded that day.” The soothing track is taken from the Copenhagen based producer’s first full length album (out 14th September), which also features a collaboration with singer and rapper Georgia Anne Muldrow.
