afropunk premiere: london glam pop duo suns explore the “fuck it all” attitude with new track, ‘ella’

Today we’re premiering the new track from London glamour-pop act SUNS – ‘Ella’. The song features on their upcoming collection, ‘We Were Kings EP’ (out Oct 16th via SUNS own label Taiyō Records), and the Hackney based duo (Andy McDonnell and Michael Tyrrell) tell us: “Ella is inspired by a friend who believed that ‘the party never dies’. We think a lot people can appreciate it’s a easy trap to fall into as a young person in a big city, and unfortunately we watched as her life came crashing down. The experience inspired us to write this song because we felt sorry for her, but also admired her “fuck it all” attitude.” Stream below.
