afropunk premiere: ‘why not’ – the new single from uk rapper mikel ameen (feat. aina more) + photo series from sanaa abstrakt

Today we’re premiering the new single release from UK rapper Mikel Ameen – ‘Why Not’. The single features fellow Brit Aina More and has been released with a series of nude art images, taken on the London Underground and shot by photographer Sanaa Abstrakt. Like the images, the song is a flag for freedom of expression and, as Ameen’s camp states, is “an aggressive declaration of individualism and self-governance”. Check out the single and images below.
