ap fashion: god save le belles (haus of belle)

Far off in a little neighborhood called Canarsie, Brooklyn (aka the middle of nowhere) is an indie designer making waves. Ebony Alexander is the mastermind behind Haus of Belle NYC, a contemporary brand with gritty rock & roll and hip-hop roots for the ladies. Sounds cliché as hell but it’s not what you think. Find hand painted tee shirts as well as tanks with eerie graphic prints like my favorite Villian Sisters top bearing Siamese twin skeletons at Haus of Belle’s online shop. Recently HOB followers were given a treat for Summer 2011 when their very first online advert dropped, starring a heavily tattooed and pierced red head showing off new pieces around town; Not too far off from her own aesthetic comprised of bright orange hair against dark skin and amazing ink. I caught up with Ebony to chat about how Haus of Belle reflects her rebellious personality.
