Leather accents with any outfit always add a punk or badass edge. The biker look can definitely be sexy, for both males and females. Leather sleeved coats, coated jeans—which have a leather like look, and leather jackets are definitely in this winter! Leather turns up the volume on what may be a simple outfit!

Spice up any outfit with leather add ons. I was bold and purchased a pair of black leather overalls – and although I wasn’t sure if I would be able to pull off a leather this one piece, the look worked. I threw on a black tank turtleneck underneath, a gold necklace and pointed toe pumps. Go for the bold with leather! Each day try something different – why not be daring?

Leather or fake leather moto jackets are great as well! The last few days have been very very cold, but, layering with a long sleeved shirt or knit sweater, scarf, hat and gloves, you can still remain cute in the concrete jungle we call NYC. Try for a colored moto jacket—red, greens, or browns—brighten up the drab winter weather—or throw on a neon slouched beanie with a black moto jacket.
I have always gone for a vegan leather and sometimes fake leather – just to save some money – and there are great leather alternatives out there. My first biker jacket is a vegan leather material—almost like a matte finish—got that bad boy from Nasty Gal. Topshop and River Island also have some great leather and fake leather items that are a bit pricey, but don’t completely hurt the wallet, and besides its a great investment anyways, right?
