art

Afro-punk has always been committed to bringing amazing art to the festival and the ArtWall will return this year bigger and better than ever with two concepts. Flanking both sides of the main stage, there will be a 200-foot wall featuring large format photos of kids in the Afro-punk community that will be the canvas for an original painting. We have also commissioned an artist to paint over 140 skateboards as part of one large mural, a.k.a. The Skate ArtWall. These one-of-a-kind boards will be contested to Afro-punk fans at the Festival.
