AP Quickie: Be A Part of Dr. Maddvibe (Fishbone's Angelo Moore)'s New Project

Fishbone's Angelo Moore, aka Dr. Maddvibe, is funding his upcoming project The Angelo Show via a Kickstarter campaign. This means that all of us can participate and be a part of it. Funds will go towards the mixing, mastering, merchandise production, rehearsal space rental, paying musicians, and everything else needed to launch the project successfully. Angelo is said to bare his soul like never before in this project. "This record is about a man who has been through the emotional ups and downs from traveling all over the world time and time again while trying to maintain relationships at home with loved ones and friends. One song in particular called "Field of Groupies" showcases Angelo's voice reaching from the depths of pain and transcending to the other side reminiscent of the greatest soul singers who've ever recorded.", reads the official description. Comment by Milo Mojo on July 10, 2011 at 9:45am: Fishbone were pioneers in an underground scene that at the time did not necessarily promote thinking of the future. So at this point in his career, to put out something professional rather then something half -assed that sounds like it was made in the basement, I can see how he would ask for assistance to make a quality product.

I hope he is able to create and release something he is proud of.
