AFRO-PUNK

... the other Black experience

I think I succeeded in doing getting what I wanted while I was in Atlanta over the weekend. I arrived Friday afternoon, dropped my luggage off and headed out for a couple hours. Saturday,Sunday and Monday I went out as soon as the sun started to rise and stayed out for at least eight hours. I caught the train, bus and walked in 80 plus degree weather to hit all the spots that I was familiar with to see how they changed. I really wanted to see what I overlooked all the years I was living there. I really noticed the former with all the new buildings and the old places that were boarded up or completed torn down.

Out of ninety-six total shot on black & white film,fifty-one were to my liking. The other forty-five left much to be desired. Taking a different angle, giving more thought to the composition or not taking the shot at all would have been best for photos I excluded.

Anyway....
