Bad Brains Joining SXSW Lineup in March

It seems like the Bad Brains crew have been feeling pretty generous to the U.S. music scene, announcing several new performance dates on their social networking sites, including an announcement on their Facebook page today saying they are performing at the 2011 South By South West (SXSW) music festival on March 16 at 4PM at Emo's.  Joining the nine-day music, film and tech extravaganza, Bad Brains will play with hundreds of other performers, including several other Afro-punk favorites like Twin Shadow, Das Racist, Ebony Bones and Erykah Badu.  Now in it's 25th season, the activities happen between March 11-20 in Austin, Texas.   Most bands set up at the Austin Convention Center but spread out to different venues throughout the city.  Click here for more info on this year's SXSW festivities.
