Bayard Rustin will posthumously receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom

50 years after the March on Washington, Bayard Rustin will posthumously receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Rustin, who was openly gay, was the chief organizer of the March on Washington in 1963. The White House announced on Thursday that he will receive the highest civilian award in the United States.

About dayum time. It's 50 long years. The man should been had his due paid. I'm glad he is  finally getting respected and recognized.
