book contest winners announced: check out ap top books

Thanks to everyone who participated with our recent book contest, where readers were asked to submit the name of their favorite book for a chance to win a free copy of the newly released book, The Exene Chronicles, by Camille Collins. Author, Camille, picked her favorite three submissions out of the bunch for the win and had several honorable mentions as well. Here’s the list of winners and their favorite books. If you have any others that you think people should read, include below.

Book: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
Issac on his selection: “This book goes way beyond a simple story. It speaks on pursuing dreams and finding your true purpose in life. This book allowed me to look inside my self and helped me figure out not only what I want to do in life but also what I seek for happiness as a human being. I recommend this book to anyone going through life thinking that they are not in control, or even people that are in control but seek direction from within themselves.”

WINNER: Taryn of Seattle
Book: Sassafrass, Cypress and Indigo by Ntozake Shange
and Hope for The Flowers by Trina Paulus
(Taryn didn’t really say as much as the guys, but I loved the book she chose).
