Boomer is Back!

Hey all...I'm baaaaaack!! I know I've been kinda mia for a while but here I am. No worries! I'm sitting at my desk at work and I'm bored (and hot) as hell! I 'm supposed to be making calls to ppl to see if they wanna come to this university but I'm just not feelin' it! No one wants to answer the phone. Most ppl have caller id so why not just answer the phone and say you're not interested instead of just not answering at all? As the caller id says, we're not bill collectors or anything like that. We're positive ppl trying to encourage other ppl to make a positive decision by coming in to talk about college. Whatever. At least we have the internet. If not, whew! I'd be hella out of it! Sure, it's just 4 hours to work but still, if I didn't have the internet to mess around with, those 4 hours would seem even longer!!!

Another thing is that I got into the editing program at The University of Chicago and I start next week!!! I'm both nervous and excited. I've been out of the school environment for over 3 years so it might take some getting used to again. I would love it if I could say I'm an Editor! That would be so rad!

Anyway, I don't really have much to say. Just wanted to post a lil something.

Side Note: Ok, there's this older guy working with me who is ALWAYS complaining about something. Whether the leads we got are horrible or the list of names he got are mainly duplicates or something. He's scared to go on the internet so he has the rest of us do it for him, looking shit up and whatnot, and he's just a downer. He sits in the little desk area next to me so he always rolls his chair over to me and start whining......ARRRRRRGGGGHHH! Just stop it! Chill the fuck out! Relax! It's not that serious!
