Calling all Afro-Punk visual artists!
We would like to give artists from the Afro-Punk Community a chance to showcase their work to all our members and the thousands of people visiting afropunk.com everyday. So here's your chance to submit images that will be used as wallpapers on the Afro-Punk website. We'll close the contest when we have enough wallpapers (we'll use the selected images on a rotating basis).
+ You'll get $50 if we use your wallpaper!
You'll need a template in psd format, please click here to download it.
Wallpaper image should be 1600px wide x 600px high 72dpi, in jpeg format. Logo should be 225px wide by 155px high placed where noted.
E-mail your submissions to Lou at loucd@afropunk.com.

Hi Chez, we replied to your e-mail with instructions to download the template. Yes, you can design your own Afro-Punk logo but you'll need the template to know exactly where it should be placed. Hope this helps.
i can't download ..is there a reason why..or am i doing it wrong...can i just set up my own page according to specs, and take logo from the site..or can i make my own logo for afro-punk?
Hi Sheeba, we don't have a deadline for now. But the sooner the better. We'll stop accepting submissions when we feel we have enough wallpapers (we'll select about 10 images and use them on a rotating basis).
