designer spotlight: blkkangaroo – color, vibrancy, and an african aesthetique

December 11, 2014

Check out these stunning images from BLKKANGAROO’s Spring/ Summer 15 lookbook. Founder, Seye Ogunlesi started the label following the popularity of his  “if found return to the Motherland” t-shirts – which he first sold from a backpack at AFROPUNK FEST 2012. The collection, noted for its bold graphics, prints and an undeniable African heritage echoes the fun, laid-back vibe of Ogunlesi and his team – art director, Emmanuel Obayemi and fashion director, Nick Bahizi. Explore the lookbook, below.
