feature: black cosplayers kill it for #29daysofblackcosplay

February 22, 2016

Cosplay is like wearing your favorite band’s t-shirt x10, on Halloween. Some people switch up their dietary and fitness routines, spend thousands of dollars on obscure materials, learn how to sew/weld/whatever to make a cosplay outfit that’s impressively accurate to the original or the perfect blend of their fave character and their own personality. #29DaysOfBlackCosplay was created by black nerd and supreme cosplayer Chaka Cumberbatch, who started the hashtag to celebrate Black History Month and the creativity of black cosplayers. Check out some of our faves down below and follow the hashtag all month.
