feature: entertainer coco deville shakes up the underground burlesque world with unique routines

June 27, 2016

Coco Deville is an international burlesque artist who is changing the image of burlesque and pin-up performers. The curvaceous entertainer is known for her unique, theatrical performances and, of course, her gorgeous brown skin. The world of underground burlesque is certainly notably for its range of diversity as far as represented fetishes and niches for both performers and enthusiasts, but the default entertainer and what, I wager, many audience members might expect are Dita Von Teese types who could have rolled out of a cheesecake magazine. Representation for black entertainers is still something of a rarity. While Coco has many classic routines and costumes in her portfolio, she never shy’s away from unique themes, from disco to portraying Star Trek iconic character Uhura, and Beauty and the Geek. Down below you can get a glimpse of Coco in action and visit her website to learn more information about future appearances and bookings.
