The show’s formate is pretty interesting, too. The first two episodes are a quick seven and four minutes each and take the shape of an actual documentary, with a mix of straight-forward interviews, director confessions, and ”candid“-seeming breakthrough scenes. And, while very brief, the conversations we see between friends and ex’s manages to creates immediate attachment to and reliability with these characters. ”BOXX“ was written by Yrsa Daley-Ward and directed & produced by Joy Gharoro-Akpojotor.
