Check out the striking photos below, by Congolese photographer Christin Bela – featuring model Tay (a singer Based in Montpellier, France). Bela, who is travelling through Europe at the moment, is currently working on an ongoing photo series, called ‘African Queens’. He begun the series while living in Asia and told us that the purpose of the series is “to send a positive message to the world about Black culture.” Adding: “My focus is more on girls, and to show different images of our hair styles, fashion, our different bodies shapes, and to celebrate our diversity.”
