Haitian-Italian fashion designer Stella Jean is a frequent collaborator with African and Haitian artisans through a mutual appreciation and respect for the people, resources, and traditions of indigenous communities and the preservation of ancient cultures and self-sustaining local, female-driven businesses. Her Fall/Winter 2016 collection just showed at Milan Fashion Week and made a bold statements with globally influenced mixed prints, textures, and colors and chic European cuts.
