True to form, Jaden Smith is pushing gender boundaries, this time as the face of Louis Vuitton’s Summer/Spring 2016 womenswear collection. In the ad campaign, which was recently revealed by LV’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere, Smith appears in so-called women’s clothing—including a skirt. While womenswear on men isn’t exactly groundbreaking, what is worth noticing is the fact that Smith appears next to the female models, not as an anomaly, but as a fellow wearer of women’s clothing

Smith is no stranger to skirt-wearing and challenging the gender binary restrictions placed on the fashion industry: “Went To TopShop To Buy Some Girl Clothes, I Mean ‘Clothes,” he wrote on an Instagram post of himself sporting a tunic dress.
