Check out Kelis’ new cookbook! The AFROPUNK Fest alum and certified chef states, “After years of dreaming about it, I was fortunate to be able to release my first cookbook. I titled it ‘My Life On A Plate’.The title is a good reflection of what the book’s about…..a collection of recipes that reflect my life up until now. There’re dishes I grew up eating, standards that I’ve put my own spin on, and to die for finds that I’ve picked up through my years of traveling the world as a performer. I think there’s something for everyone in it even if you don’t consider yourself a master chef.” The singer-songwriter (whose mother worked as a chef in her own catering business) adds: “Living well. Eating well. Being well is a lifestyle.
