feature: model & blogger cipriana quann sues nypd for alleged false arrest outside brooklyn nightclub

December 30, 2015

As reported by the NY Daily News, model and blogger Cipriana Quann is suing the New York Police Department. Quann, editor-in-chief of Urban Bush Babes, claims that she was falsely arrested by police (who were seeking a drug suspect) in May outside a Brooklyn nightclub and on monday she filed a lawsuit against the NYPD for the incident. NY Daily News writes: “Quann had nothing to do with the buy-and-bust but she was allegedly shoved from behind by an NYPD lieutenant wearing a raid jacket. “Can you please watch where you are pushing. … I am a woman,” Quann said. That’s when she claims she was grabbed by cops who held her arms, frisked her & snapped on handcuffs.” The criminal case against her was dismissed last month and Quann’s claim is now being reviewed. Stand up for your rights, people!
