Art

feature: say something worth something

Misha Tyutyunik works mostly in acrylics and mixed media. Born in the Soviet Union, Misha came to the United States with his family in the summer of 1991.

The cultural contrasts became paramount to his work. His art is figurative in nature, blending elements of pop culture and his love of hip hop culture with his own brand of socio-political satire.

In an age where so much is over-produced, over-packaged and automated, The SSWS Project seeks to highlight modern-day creators in their dedication to craftsmanship and substance.
The SSWS Project is the brainchild of creative director/producer/song-writer Jon Suede Jury, in collaboration with director Alex G. Visit http://www.mishat.com for more of the painter’s thought-provoking work.
