Check out Urban $tyle Respect SP- a collaborative photo project by visual designer Elvis Benicio and photographer Matheus Coutinho, featuring the Ver$usxBoyz (a fashion lifestyle movement made up of young people from São Paulo, aged between 15 and 19). “This work aims to demonstrate the creative potential of young Brazilians,” states the team. They add: “With the democratization of access to the Internet, the mode of dress was never the same. In Brazil, young people from the outskirts of São Paulo are creating their own identity to explore, with consciousness, an infinite collection of fashion references, art and music that web provides. This initiative translates visually through an intense graphic appeal, unique, artistic and realistic photographic style.” Take a look below.
