feature: wemojis – the black-owned app that is bringing diversity to the emoji keyboard

September 16, 2015

Check out the WeMojis app, the brainchild of two tech entrepreneurs/ brothers (and Howard University graduate). The CEO and Co-Founder, Trey Brown, states: “We are elated to finally introduce this culturally relevant set of emoticons to the world. While others have chased the concept of ‘diverse emoji’s’, we took our time to create a universal model that encompasses not only faces but cultural nuances as well”. As you’ll see below, the app delivers much more diversity than the apple upgrade. CLICK HERE to get it for free on iPhone (the Android app will be out soon).
