“RTA #2” is a beautiful song with a message that works on several levels. With references to Mecca, maternity, and the Nibiru cataclysm doomsday event, “RTA #2”, at its core, is a song about autonomy: political, celestial, or otherwise. Armed with a fierce glottal stop and a hypnotic beat, Willow (ft. Crystal Mec) proclaim their right to land and community—to a home. “I’m not saying I’m perfect/but I know, I know, I know my planet’s worth it.”

Whether “RTA #2” is really about a planet-sized collision with Earth or imperialism, Willow (once again) delivers a super-solid, stimulating track. “We have minds, we have consciousness, it’s our time now.”
