Our band A Broken Code is embarking on journey into making a heavier sound. Heavier meaning more rough and metallic. We're looking for a lady singer with a voice that can sail over such rough seas. Pretty much like what Skin, the female singer in the youtube video link below.

You are: A Serious musician. singer, assured, creative and have your own material and ideas to bring to the table. You're open minded, serious about music, songwriter, looking for the right project, who needs to perform constantly, in front of a constantly growing fan base. You gotta live in NYC including any of it's boroughs. Please be between 20 to 30 years of age, good looking, humble, self confident and consistent, energetic on stage, and have power in your presence.

We pursue this as a LOVE & CAREER, not a hobby, not just for fun. Though it is lots of fun, it's also lots of work. If you're lazy or half assed with your talent and don't have this sort of passion for music, don't bother. As a band, we have our own studio for rehearsal & recording (you don't have to chip in any $, unless you want to for cd duplication, promotion, parties, etc. We've released our first album "Retribution For The Afflicted" available on itunes, amazon, rhapsody, etc.

Goals are to create, rehearse, record, release, promote and perform our music independently here in NYC, and if a good record label comes along, so be it.
