fka twigs gives us a sneak peek of her halloween-inspired multimedia project

October 27, 2016

As far as pushing the boundaries of what musicians can do to supplement their sonic presence, FKA Twigs has long been at the forefront of this era, making the stark images, painstaking intimacy, and the grotesque all paramount in her visual identity. In doing so, she solidifies herself as one of the most creative artists in the game and she hasn’t stopped at merely doing music videos, short films, or editorials–now she’s foraying into taking her mind-bending to physical space. In a collaboration with Olivier de Sagazan, FKA Twigs is building an eerie exhibition inspired by astrology and Halloween. In a series of photographs and videos via Instagram, Twigs teases followers with snippets of what to expect in the exhibit, which includes rooms that invoke the spirits of Scorpios and Libras. The exhibition is set to open today in London at the Veuve Clicquot Widow Series. AFROPUNK Londoners enjoy! For the rest of us, let’s get a taste in the clips below shall we?
