We’ve got some new music from pop/folk singer, AFROPUNK member Nasimiyu. ‘Raise Your Arrow (The Hunt)’ is a first taste of her upcoming EP dirt, to be released early next year. Her camp says: “Although she played most of the instruments on the new album herself, Nasimiyu fronts and plays keyboard with a live backing band of NYC musicians she describes as her “top picks” — drummer Kevin Raczka of Valerie June / Antibalas, trumpeter Andrew McGovern of Machetes, tuba player Mark Nagy of Escarioka, and saxophonist Eden Bareket of The Side Project.
