2. Once you complete your hours (ranges from 2 to 5 hours), you are then offered an all expense paid trip to the Virgin Mobile Music Festival in Baltimore Maryland on September 5th, featuring acts such as M.I.A.,Thievery Corporation, LCD Soundsystem, Pavement, Ludacris, Chromeo, T.I., and some other cool acts. Your bus ride, hotel, and concert tickets are paid for.
3. You have the gratifying feeling of helping homeless teens along with going to see a dope show.
That's it. It's that simple. We know, we know, you have so many more questions.
Why is it that simple? Because we're awesome.
Can I bring a guest with me if I go (yes, you get two tickets).
Here are the available volunteer dates still open.
If you're in Boston, Chicago, NY, or D.C., we fully expect you guys to register for these volunteer programs to help homeless teens. Over two million youth (between the ages of 12 and 24) will experience at least one episode of homelessness each year and over 100,000 youth sleep on the street for 6 months or more in America. Youth homelessness is the result of other societal problems like poverty, drug abuse and addiction, homophobia, mental illness and domestic violence. We encourage you to lend a little of your time and support to show these young people you care. And in the end, there’ll be something pretty sweet in store for you as well!
Become a part of the project. Register to volunteer for one of the few opportunities we have left and help homeless teens for a better tomorrow. Let us know if you have any questions below. Hope to see you at the Virgin Mobile Music Festival on September 25 in Baltimore, MD!!!
