h.r. of bad brains will attend screening of ‘hr – finding joseph i’ doc in brooklyn

What a time to be alive! H.R. of Bad Brains will be in attendance of the screening of the new documentary about his life, ‘HR – Finding Joseph I’ in Brooklyn next week. HR “Finding Joseph I” is a documentary chronicling the eccentric life and struggles of punk rock reggae singer, Paul “HR” Hudson from the one and only Bad Brains. The frontman’s charismatic and energetic live performances helped pioneer hardcore punk, cementing Bad Brains as a seminal group in the punk canon. Mental illness, faith, overcoming obstacles, and moments of triumph all characterize this legend’s life, and the documentary will show bits of it all. The team behind the doc say, “‘Finding Joseph I’ delicately illustrates the true story behind the legendary lead singers life, career and struggles with never before seen archival footage, photography and exclusive interviews.” The Brooklyn screening at Nitehawk Cinema is all sold out, but if you’re lucky enough to have a ticket you’ll get the rare treat of witnessing a Q&A with Paul H.R.
