He's the brilliant producer behind some of your favorite songs, including Das Racist, Boy Crisis, and many more. Turns out Voidwell has funky chops of his own, which he delivered in The Void Mixtape and made us instant believers. His electro funk voice is truly unique, his lyrics are snarky and hilarious, and his style is intentional and fantastic. His demeanour on stage is loud and fun, but subtly obvious that VOIDWELL is an alter ego...if that makes any sense at all. it's intriguing. so intriguing we just wanna have lunch with him and talk about chain-link sunglasses, southpark, and our families.

But until that epic lunchdate, we're musical homies with Gordon. We'll listen to his new album Ivy League Circus a LOT, and give it time until we're texting back and forth.

Comment by Donovan on December 4, 2010 at 6:44pm: Me and my quirky friend, well he'd seem like the quiet type. But anythime he has a smart remark to say...everyone laughin. His name is max. He aint the best dressers. He wears a sweatshirt, jogging pants or sweat pants, flip flops (with option of socks or not) and usually a scarf almost everyday!!!! Everyone makes fun of him but I aint ashamed to say he one of my funniest friends. We were in band and one of the songs we were playing was called "gypsy caravan". Our teacher made a comment about how to play and he said "Gypsies were always happy and jumpy and hoopla...so we should play like gypsies" Even I dont know why that was funny but everyone laughed. I wanna say you had to be there but you kinda cant and it woulda been a waste of time.
